When I was a lot younger than I am today I went for a job interview with a telephone company. During the (very difficult) interview the subject of Duracell batteries came up and the interviewer asked me the following question. "What is the biggest problem with Duracell batteries?" Thinking that a poor answer might scupper my chances of being hired, I searched in vain for an answer which might be acceptable. Unable to come up with anything that sounded even remotely intelligent I mumbled something along the lines of "I don't know". The answer, which I think was his attempt at a joke, was "if you have young children, it doesn't matter how long the battery lasts, it will still be dead in the morning because they left it on when they went to bed."
It's a good point. I suppose it goes to prove that if you want something tested to destruction, give it to children - they have an innate ability to find the weaknesses!
